As the summer comes to a close, it can be easy to push pause on all of your family-friendly activities and get back into the swing of the school year. First, you’ll decide to skip the pool for back-to-school shopping, and before you know it, bathing suits will be pushed to the back of your closet as schedules become busy again. We want to make sure you enjoy these last several weeks of summer, so we found a handful of family-friendly activities to keep you occupied and outside.

Do you love wings? So do we. That’s why we cannot wait for this event. Local chefs and restaurants will be putting their strongest foot, and best wings, forward at Wingapalooza 2015. This is the first time Wingapalooza is happening, and we are very excited! There will be all-you-can-eat-wings, a beer garden, entertainment, and plenty of music. The makers of the wings will be in the running for the “Lord of the Wings” award. Who will be there? So far, the following restaurants have secured their spot in the running:
Douglas Avenue Chop Shop
Joe’s Old Town Bar & Grill
Wings & Things
Pizza Hut WingStreet
Hopefully, you’ll be able to squeeze in at least a couple of these events for some fun with the family! We hope to see you there!
